Listen in as we talk with Packers legend Forrest Gregg

Forrest Gregg

At least once each month we host a live telephone interview with one of our Hall of Famers.

During these calls, you have the opportunity to ask questions and share memories with these historical heroes. The calls are recorded and an MP3 of the interview is sent to all members and to everyone who was on the call individually.

On January 11, 2012 Rich Fercy will be interviewing Forrest Gregg.

It was Forrest Gregg’s inner fire, tenacity and dedication that made him the person Lombardi once called the “the best player I’ve ever coached.”

Enshrined in the Packers Hall of Fame in 1977 and the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton OH later that year for his play at offensive tackle.  Gregg played for the Packers in 1956, and 1958 through 1970.  His second career with the Packers was head coach from 1984 – 87, after taking the Cincinnati Bengals to the Super Bowl as head coach in 1982.

On November 19, 2011, Forrest Gregg announced he has been diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease.  Since that time he has been working with the people at the Colorado Neurological Institute.

Dr. Sanjay Gupta – CNN Chief Medical Correspondent will be interviewing Forrest just days after our call.  This will be a revealing conversation for Packers Hall of Fame.com insiders.  I urge you to join us LIVE on January 11 at Noon Central time.
